Job Description: One position is located on the National Forests in Texas on the Davy Crockett Ranger District in Ratcliff, TX. One position is located on the National Forests in Mississippi on the Desoto Ranger District in McHenry, MS. This position is responsible for performing a variety of complex and recurring duties in support of wildlife habitat on the unit. Job Responsibilities: Evaluate data and make recommendations for improvement of habitat or species. The duties are listed at the full performance level. Develop work plans to collect required data for complete habitat and species condition analyses. Change study procedures and data collection in order to address changing needs. Plan and conduct a variety of wildlife studies to gather data for evaluation. Collaborate with other departments to develop work plan. Use personal computer systems for recording, storing, and analyzing data.
