Job Description: An Air National Guard Airman’s mental health is just as important as their physical health. As a mental health service specialist, you’ll be there to help. You’ll learn new ways to interview patients and determine their psychological and psychosocial status, then provide guidance and counseling to assist them in achieving a more satisfying personal, family, social and occupational life. You’ll also be given the flexibility to perform this role in the state you want. Job Responsibilities: Administer and score psychological tests. Provide supportive care for physically ill patients. Handle administrative duties within the mental health clinic. Assist patients with nutritional, hygiene and comfort measures. Job Requirements: Have a high school diploma, GED with 15 college credits or GED.
