Job Description: Duty Location MAY be Negotiable within Regions 6, 7, or 8, which include only the following states: Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Texas, and Arizona. Job Responsibilities: Assists with the development, preparation, and revision of the unit budget, and in the preparation of instructions to managers regarding funding estimates and budget planning for the coming fiscal year. Provides required data and assistance to program managers and unit staff in developing budget and program planning summaries. Assists with execution of the current year budget for the unit, including analysis of needs, recommendation for modifications, and making allotments. Serves as A/OPC for park and overseeing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. Incumbent reviews and analyzes the overall and individual Division budgets to ensure that the preparation and the use of the funds are in accordance with allocations, policies, procedures, laws, and required formats. Analyzes and summarizes financial reports and conducts periodic reviews to ensure rate of expenditures are within funding levels and advise managers if fund balances are appropriate for the remaining work to be accomplished. Assists with executing the financial management responsibilities and functions as well as researching problems and developing solutions. Job Requirements: U.S. Citizenship required.
